- 2 C Basil Leaves; packed
- 1/2 C Olive Oil
- 1/3 C Pine Nuts
- 1/3 C Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 3 TBSP Garlic; minced
Combine all ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor and process until no large leaves remain. With the food processor still running, stream olive oil in slowly and steadily. After you've finished pouring continue to process a few more seconds. You may have to occasionally scrape the sides of the food processor to ensure that the pesto is completely mixed.
Use immediately over the top of pasta, chicken, pizza or anything else you can dream up, or store in the fridge for later use.
