Simply Seasoned Sweet Potato Fries

  • 1 Large Sweet Potoato, peeled and cut into a medium-thick fry
  • 2 TBSP Cornstarch
  • 1 TBSP Olive Oil (Drizzle a bit at a time so you don't overdo it. Puddles on the baking sheet=bad)
  • Heavy Sprinkle of Cinnamon
  • Heavy Sprinkle of Paprika
  • (Another) Heavy Sprinkle of Sea Salt
Preheat the oven to 425 and line a cookie sheet with a piece of foil, and, just for good measure, spray the foil with non-stick cooking spray. Dump the cornstarch into a large resealable plastic baggie.

Throw the sweet potatoes in the baggie with the cornstarch! Seal the bag, leaving the air in there, turn on a good tune and shake it! Seriously, shake the bag until the fries are completely coated. Then dump them onto your prepared baking sheet.

Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the fries (remember, easy does it). Roll up your sleeves and use those hands of yours to toss the fries in the oil. If you think you don't have enough, you probably do. Put the oil down and walk away.

Sprinkle the paprika, cinnamon and sea salt over your sweet potato fries. Use as much or as little as you like.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Take the baking sheet out; use a spatula to flip the little fries around, and continue to bake for another 5-10 minutes or until they start to brown and crisp up.

Let them cool a bit and then serve them as a side to your favorite dish!
