Nutella Crescents with Banana Glaze

Nutella Crescents

  • 1 Package Reduced Fat Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 8 tsp Nutella
  • Prepared Banana Glaze

Unroll the 8 triangles of crescent dough onto a cookie sheet (you may need two sheets). 

Plop about a teaspoon of Nutella on each triangle (you can just eyeball it...that way you may have a "grand finale" worthy crescent). Then spread the Nutella evenly over each triangle. Leave a small margin around the edges of the dough.

Then roll each crescent beginning at the base of the triangle and working toward the tip.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Top with the suggested banana glaze when the crescents have cooled slightly for a treat a little reminiscent of a Nutella and banana sandwich...mmmmm. 

Banana Glaze

  • 1/2 Banana
  • 2 TBSP Skim Milk
  • Splash of Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 C Powdered Sugar

In a food processor puree the banana half. Once smooth, add a splash of lemon juice and the milk. Add the powdered sugar last by incorporating a little at a time until you reach a good "drizzling" consistency. Drizzle over the slightly cooled crescent rolls or another treat in need of a kick of banana flavor.
