Chocolate Cookie Cake Icing

  • 1/2 C Confectioner's Sugar
  • 1/4 C Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pure Almond Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 C Almond Milk (Another variety of milk will work too. I just happened to have this and wanted to try it in this recipe)
Using a rubber spatula, stir the ingredients together in a small bowl until it is a dark fudge color and is semi-stiff (as in not hard as a rock, but stiff enough to hold a shape).

Either spread evenly over the top of the cookie cake (or other dessert of your choice) or spoon into a piping bag and pipe onto your dessert in your desired pattern.
