Fruity Marshmallow Treats

  • 4 C Fruity Pebbles (just shy of a whole box...I had a couple bowls before trying this recipe)
  • 2 1/2 C Miniature Marshmallows
  • 2 TBSP Butter
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Spray a spatula and an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

When melted, add the marshmallows and reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir to coat the marshmallows with the melted butter. Allow the marshmallows to melt, stirring frequently. When the marshmallows are smooth and stringy remove from heat and quickly fold in the cereal.

When well combined, pour into the prepared glass baking dish and press firmly to mold the treats to the dish. Allow the treats a little time to cool and solidify before cutting (no joke...this is the hardest part). After about 20-30 minutes (minimum), spray a large knife with non-stick spray and cut the treats into nine equal squares (or six like I did if you want bigger treats).
